Live it Vintage 2012

Due to the Olympics and the Jubilee in 2012 we find ourselves in a celebratory mood and one that brings out our Vintage side, due to the Olympics last being held in the UK in 1948 and the Queen’s coronation in 1952.  

The aim of Live it Vintage 2012 is to bring some of this vintage style to Maidenhead High Street this August!


Here at ‘Live it. Love it. Make it’ we decided that with a little help from our friends we should put on a Vintage inspired event in Maidenhead Town Centre during the Olympic fortnight.
One of the Olympic sites is the lovely Dorney Lake - just down the road, as well has having a ‘Live site’ in Maidenhead’s own Kidwell’s Park. So, plenty more people in town to cater for and show off to, as well as being able to showcase all of the amazing people we have in the local area.


Our event is one of three events taking place during the fortnight, including The Craft Coop Handmade fair on Saturday 28th July and the always popular ‘Art on the Street’ on Saturday 11th August, so we are in good company to fill this town with joy!

We are still looking for all types of Vintage traders, from Clothing and furniture through to vintage inspired food and entertainment, so please do apply. Also, we want to get a few Vintage vehicles in on the action and would like to hear from people who would like to advertise their companies by rolling out their classics into the High Street for people to look at and of course enquire for hire.

Live it Events is a non-profit organisation, which put on events to help communities grow.  We want to help local companies and organisations get exposure to their local community,
whilst having loads of fun!
